STEP 1: Get Connected
Sign up for a Twitter account. Upload a profile pic and fill out your profile & location so people know who you are.
At the scheduled time, open up Twitter (or a Twitter client) and search “#lindychat”. Twitter and most Twitter clients will regularly update the search stream.
You can also use http://tweetchat.com/room/lindychat, and sign in with your Twitter handle.

STEP 2: Participate
At the beginning of the hour, the host of the chat will introduce him or herself and get the topic rolling. Introduce yourself. Say where you’re from and how you heard about #lindychat.
You can tweet on the topic at any time, any thought/question that comes to mind. You can reply to other people’s ideas and questions. You can RT (retweet, meaning to repost a tweet) others’ questions and ideas. See more Rules on participation.
Make sure to use the hashtag #lindychat at the end of each tweet so others will see it.
At the end of the hour, make suggestions for future topics you’d like to discuss. Follow people you’ve connected with. You can also tweet out your site, or post off-topic tweets and links.

STEP 3: Promote
Know other swing dancers you’d like to chat with? Post a link to #lindychat on Facebook, email your friends, talk about it at the next dance.
